Which train station should I use for the shuttle?
Please use the BWI Amtrak/MARC Rail Station. MCC’s complimentary shuttle serves this station directly, as well as nearby Light Rail stops.

Yes. Our shuttle serves the BWI Amtrak/MARC Rail Station.

Do you serve Baltimore Penn Station?
While our shuttle does not operate to or from Baltimore Penn Station, we’re happy to pick up at the BWI Amtrak/MARC Rail Station. If you’re arriving at Penn Station, please consider a taxi or rideshare to MCC, or take the Light Rail to BWI and request our on-demand shuttle.

Where exactly do I meet the shuttle at BWI Airport and at the BWI Rail Station?
At BWI Airport: meet on the lower level (arrivals), outer sidewalk at pickup locations 5 or 48. At the BWI Rail Station: meet at the taxi stand in front of the station.

What are the shuttle hours? Is it scheduled or on demand? How do I request a pickup?
The shuttle is on-demand, 24/7. After you collect your luggage, call 410-859-5700, press 0 to reach the front desk, and request a pickup.

What should I do if I arrive after shuttle hours?
The shuttle operates around the clock. Please call the front desk at 410-859-5700, press 0, and request a pickup.

Is it better to take Amtrak to BWI or go to Baltimore Penn and transfer? Is Uber or taxi recommended from certain locations?
Taking Amtrak directly to BWI is the most convenient option. If your train stops only at Baltimore Penn Station, we recommend using a shared ride service or taxi to reach MCC.

Is parking available and is it free?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests.

Do you offer EV charging or bus and oversized vehicle parking?
We do not offer EV charging on-site; however, multiple public chargers are available within five minutes of campus. We provide complimentary on-site parking for oversized vehicles/motorcoaches.

Is there a campus map?
Yes. A downloadable MCC Property Map shows buildings, parking lots, and key meeting spaces.

How far is Building 2 from the main dining hall?
The Chesapeake Dining Room is located inside Building 2 (South Tower) on the lower level beneath the main lobby.

How do I get to downtown Baltimore from MCC without a car?
Take the MCC shuttle to the Light Rail and ride the Baltimore Light Rail downtown.

Booking and Confirmations

How do I book within my group block? Where do I find the booking link or code?
Our Reservations team can locate your group code using your group name. Please call the front desk at 410-859-5700 and ask for Reservations. Your meeting planner may also provide the booking link and code.

I cannot complete my online booking. Can someone help me book without calling?

I did not receive my reservation confirmation. Can you resend it?

Can I extend my stay before or after the conference and what is the extra night rate?
Yes. We can honor your group rate up to three days before and after your conference dates (subject to availability).

Receipts and Billing

I need a copy of my hotel folio or invoice. Can you email it to me?

Do you offer master account billing for groups? What is the process and deposit schedule?

Can you provide a credit card authorization form for third party payment?
Yes. Your conference or sales manager can provide the authorization form.

Rooms and Amenities

What bed types are available? Can I switch to two beds and pay the difference?
Standard room types are Single Queen and Double Queen. Room changes depend on availability and rate at the time of the request; please contact Reservations.

Do rooms have mini fridges? How do I request one for medication?
Yes. Mini-refrigerators are standard in all rooms. If you need specific placement or temperature guidance for medication, please notify the front desk.

What are the fitness center hours?
The fitness center is open 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Are pets allowed? What is your service animal policy?
A limited number of pet-friendly rooms are available with a $75 non-refundable cleaning fee. Service animals are welcome at no additional charge.

Do you have wheelchairs available for guest use and what accessibility features are on site?
Yes. Wheelchairs are available upon request at the front desk. Accessibility features include accessible entries and ramps, and a lift to lower floors.

Dietary and Health Accommodations

Can you accommodate severe allergies such as peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame? What is the process and lead time?
Yes. Please contact your conference manager as early as possible; we will work with our kitchen team to ensure appropriate accommodations.

Do you offer lactation or pumping rooms? How do I reserve a private space?
Yes. Private nursing rooms are available upon request, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Conference Services to arrange access.

Shipping, Packages, and Exhibits

Can I ship materials to MCC before my event? What is the correct address and labeling format?
Yes. We can receive palletized and other materials, and we have a loading dock available. Please contact your Conference Services Manager for the correct address and labeling instructions.

Do you accept pallet deliveries, and do you have a dock or lift gate? What are the fees and receiving hours?
Yes. We accept pallet deliveries and have a dock available. Please consult your Conference Services Manager for fees and receiving hours.

Can I have a package delivered before arrival and held for pickup? Is there a charge?
Yes. Conference Services can coordinate package receipt and holding; please contact us for details regarding handling and any fees.

Are vendor or exhibitor tables allowed in common areas such as the lobby? Are there fees, rules, or COI requirements? Is power and internet available?
MCC offers an exhibit corridor near the auditorium that accommodates up to 40 tabletop exhibitors. Please contact your Conference Services Manager for fees, rules, COI requirements, and power/internet details.

Event Planning and Pricing

Do you have availability for my preferred dates? Can I tentatively hold space?

holds, and next steps.

What are your room capacities by setup type, and how many breakout rooms are available?

What AV and hybrid or streaming capabilities do you offer? Do you provide technicians, and what is the bandwidth?
Standard AV includes projector/screen, microphone, and podium, with on-site technical support. Hybrid options include web conferencing/simulcasting, private VLAN, and reserved bandwidth. Our network features CAT6 cabling, 95 access points, 150 Mb/s microwave with 100 Mb/s fiber backup.

Can you share sample menus with per-person pricing and dietary options?
Please contact your Sales Manager for sample menus, per-person pricing, and dietary accommodations.

Do you offer meeting packages with starting rates for day meetings or overnight conferences?
Yes. Day Meeting Package starting at $119 per person (includes meeting space, lunch, breaks, AV, Wi-Fi, and parking). Guest rooms starting at $159 per night for Single/Double Queen (breakfast included).

Can you provide a rough per-person cost estimate for a multi-day meeting that includes food and rooms?
Yes. Please contact your Sales Manager for a tailored estimate.

What are your cancellation and change policies?
Group terms for cancellation and change are defined in your contract. For details, please reach out to your Sales Manager.

Group-Specific and Special Cases

Do you allow outside catering? If so, what are the rules, fees, and linens policy?
No, we do not allow any outside catering. All food and beverage at MCC is provided by our in-house culinary team.

Do you set aside rooms for specific events, such as a gala or conference?
Yes. Spaces such as the Chesapeake Dining Room can be reserved and configured—up to six salons or one large room.

Can you host social events such as funeral receptions or milestone birthdays? What are the policies and availability?
Yes. MCC regularly hosts celebrations and special gatherings. Policies and availability are coordinated through Sales based on your event’s needs.

Guest Services and Lost and Found

I left an item in my room. Can you check the lost and found and mail it back?

Can you place a small birthday gift or special amenity in a guest room?
